Whether it’s cheering from the stands, helping out at one of our State Championships, volunteering at a Healthy Athletes event, or so much more, there are many ways to ensure our athletes experience the JOY of competition and participate in world-class health, leadership, and personal development opportunities throughout Illinois.
So, during the Polar Plunge season, how does someone participate?
- You could TAKE THE PLUNGE! Next year, why not SHOW OFF by taking an icy dip yourself.
- You could VOLUNTEER at your local Polar Plunge. The COOLEST folks are doing it.
- You could PARTNER WITH US! The Illinois Law Enforcement Torch Run and Special Olympics Illinois are always looking for SUPER CHILL partners to join our team. It’s never too early to discuss partnerships. If your organization is looking to get involved locally, you can reach out to your local Polar Plunge Director for more information. Want a larger presence in the state? Contact George Peterson, Senior Director – Development, LETR.
See you next year for the 2024 Law Enforcement Torch Run Polar Plunge!
